Norberto Cáceres, Executive Director.
Norberto Cáceres is a seasoned Chef and non-profit leader with a deep commitment to social and environmental causes. After immigrating to Canada in 2003, Norberto honed his culinary skills at chef school and spent over a decade managing food service establishments under some of Toronto’s top chefs.
Driven by a desire to make a greater impact, Norberto transitioned from the private sector to leading roles within Toronto’s largest non-profits, focusing on social justice, poverty reduction, and food security initiatives. With over 10 years of experience in this space, he has extensive expertise in delivering and managing food programming, including community kitchens and drop-in meal services.
Norberto has also designed and implemented pre-employment training programs and Social Purpose Enterprises aimed at helping individuals facing barriers to employment gain valuable skills and opportunities.
Recently, Norberto relocated with his family to Mahone Bay, where he is eager to bring his wealth of experience to improve the well-being and resiliency of his new community.
